The bilateral three-match One-Day International series between India Women and Pakistan Women whose points will amount towards the ICC Women's Championship is in doubt, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) failing to respond to Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) inquiries since May regarding a confirmation or rejection of the same. The two countries have only until the end of October to play the series.
Pakistan, who was due to host the bilateral event, were willing to host in the UAE. However, the BCCI is reportedly waiting on government clearance for the same. While the PCB want India to forfeit the six points if they do not agree to play, it is reported that the matter will be referred to the International Cricket Council's (ICC) event technical committee.
